Why I’m able to help those struggling with change.
My name is Matthew Jarvis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I’ve been a professional counselor for over 15 years, specializing in addictive behaviors.
My own story of recovery helps me understand clearly why professional counseling is essential during the process of changing behaviors. You may also need to talk with a compassionate professional to start developing a new way to live.

The Path Behind My Career as a Clinician
My counseling career found me. I didn’t find it. In my own painful struggles during early adulthood, I was overcome by addictions, terrible relationships, panic and anger problems. I found myself sitting in front of a therapist. For once, she heard me. She helped me define and accept everything I was feeling. Therapy gave me hope for change.
That was 15 years ago. Someone was there to help me in my darkest hour and now I am here for you and your family. It just takes a little bit of courage.
